Together with MCL (Marlborough Communications Limited/project leader) and Boston Dynamics, ELP GmbH has been working intensively over the last three months on a research project for the British military’s DSTL research facility. The project task was to integrate non-compensated disruptors (disarming systems) from Chemring Technology Solutions into the Boston Dynamics robot system using the innovative ELP disruptor integration system Spot X-DiS. This integration enables the emergency services to defuse potential sources of danger precisely and from a safe distance.
The excellent result was recently presented to the research facility in realistic scenarios. All tasks were solved to our complete satisfaction.
