Your tasks
A wide range of tasks awaits you: We source all the products we offer for public safety from partner companies, most of which are based outside the EU. This background makes the processing for our purchasing and the "Import / Export & Customs" department in our company varied and challenging. Her main areas of activity include purchasing, import and export customs clearance and compliance with export regulations.
- Demand-oriented scheduling in the ERP system (BC)
- Inventory monitoring and ensuring the optimal flow of goods and stock levels
- Comprehensive order processing including deadline monitoring, invoice verification and complaints handling
- Article creation, master data maintenance, data preparation
- Communication with customs authorities, freight forwarders and specialist departments
- Creation and checking of shipping / export documents
- Export specifications for customs service providers and check of MRNs and customs declarations
- Close coordination and cooperation with the various company departments in day-to-day business
Your profile:
- Completed training as an industrial clerk (m/f/d) or comparable commercial training with experience in customs/foreign trade
- First professional experience in the field of export, import and dangerous goods
- Very good knowledge of German and English (written and spoken)
- Independent, structured and result-oriented way of working, as well as a high level of teamwork and customer orientation
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC) and document management systems (e.g. ELO)
