The CEIA CMD® is a metal detector characterized by high reliability and sensitivity, designed to detect metal objects with low metal content on conductive, non-conductive, lateritic and magnetic soils.

COMPACT AND LIGHTWEIGHT DESIGN

The CMD® metal detector combines a search head, control unit, telescopic rod and elbow support in a compact design. The lightweight search probe has been designed in such a way that its cabling and electronics are optimally protected against damage.

Thanks to its compact, foldable design, the CMD® metal detector is ready for use in no time at all and ensures effortless carrying. The CMD® control unit includes a quick charger for Ni-MH batteries (charging time max. 3 hours). The rechargeable batteries can be charged without removing them from the battery compartment, with full protection of the equipment and its surroundings and maximum ease of use for the user.

ERGONOMIC OPERATION

The CMD® was developed for simple and fast use in any operating conditions and is ready for use within twenty seconds. The metal detector combines optimum functional and operational characteristics with an ideal ratio of size, weight and detection performance.

The length of the telescopic handle can be adjusted between 0 mm and 880 mm and is therefore easy to use in any position, whether standing, kneeling or lying down. The special design of the search head allows you to work quickly and effectively, even in confined spaces.

AUTOMATIC SOIL COMPENSATION SYSTEM

The CMD® does not need to be calibrated manually and guarantees optimum detection sensitivity on all soils thanks to its automatic soil compensation system.

PRECISE TARGET LOCATION WITH CUSTOMIZABLE VISIBILITY

The location of the detection targets is optimally ensured by an acoustic signal and is supported by an LED light bar, which makes it possible to determine the position of the detected mass extremely accurately. To make it more difficult to see the device from a distance in the dark, the light bar can be covered at any time by a corresponding cover flap (stealth operation).
