The image and data transmission to the control center takes place in real time. Small and lightweight nanodrones are particularly suitable for reconnaissance flights, as they can inspect almost silently. The flight course of reconnaissance drones can be programmed in advance, and control via a control unit is also possible.

There are many uses for unmanned aerial vehicles. In this way, situation pictures can be created and information about infrastructures can be collected. Potential applications include the search for persons and objects as well as the temporary surveillance of places or buildings. Police, SEK, military or civil security companies use this form of reconnaissance and thus minimize the risks that a reconnaissance scenario may involve.
