Disruptors and non-electric trigger systems are used by special operations forces or military units to defuse bombs. They are used to disarm unconventional explosive and incendiary devices (IEDs). Often booby traps are hidden in harmless, everyday objects.

Disruptors are designed to shoot water at high pressure at a suspect object, destroying the hidden explosive device. This is done from a short distance. Disruptors can be mounted on both a tripod and a remote steering manipulator, making them highly mobile.

The Shock Tube System is a non-electric, self-contained release system that is insensitive to electrical and electromagnetic influences. It can be combined directly with other types of Shock Tube Units for many different types of blasting without any preparation.
