BOMBTEC HAL basic setThe 8.85 kg hook and line base set provides the basic hook and line solutions to perform simple IEDD tasks. It represents the basic equipment of a hook and line set. By adding additional HAL modules, this set can be expanded to meet special application requirements.
The main rope is available in four different colors: Black, White, Green or Orange and is transported in a sturdy rope drum bag equipped with a viewing window made of transparent plastic. In addition, it has two external pockets. This bag can also be used as a carrying bag for tools.

Each of the individual modules of the hook and line base set comes in a sturdy, abrasion-resistant fabric bag equipped with a double zipper, a mesh pocket on the inside lid and elastic loops on the inside bottom. A Velcro closure and two MOLLE straps with snaps allow this as well as all other (small) tool pouches of the Bombtec product line to be attached to the inside or outside of the BombTec backpack or to the MOLLE loops of the Med-Eng bomb suit.
The various modules of the hook and line base set are stowed together in a larger carrying bag made of sturdy, abrasion-resistant fabric. The inner bottom offers plenty of space and can be closed with a drawstring. The zippers on the sides can be opened to expand the depth of the bag from 64 mm to 127 mm to accommodate larger products when needed. The back of the bag features four MOLLE straps with snaps that provide a variety of attachment options. The bag is secured with two side buckles.
