Product description
PeraDis® DisruptorDisruptors based on electrically triggered cartridges present users with many challenges: Not only are the cartridges banned in air transport, their storage and transportation are complex and expensive.
To solve this problem, we have developed the PeraDis® recoilless water disruptor. It is triggered by an electric motor-driven firing pin and uses commercially available cartridge cases matched to the disruptor as ammunition. The cartridges do not carry a projectile, but only serve to accelerate the active volume (18.5 ml of water or active carrier in the form of iron or glass pellets).
The power of the PeraDis® allows the so-called “surgical disarming shot”, which – according to the previously taken X-ray image – is precisely placed on the power supply. Thus, the examined device is not completely destroyed and remains intact for forensic appraisals. Although a ballistic fragmentation effect is excluded by the appropriate choice of material with the PeraDis®, a safety distance of 10 m should be maintained to the rear.

Product benefits
Simple and safe handling
The PeraDis® consists of a few components and is ready for use in just a few minutes. In addition, it is completely recoilless and based on reverse polarity protected eletronics.
Cost-effective
The PeraDis® uses inexpensive cartridge ammunition (ADR / GGUSEB Class 1.4S, UN0323).
Tested quality
The PeraDis® has been tested and approved by the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) as a defusing device.
Possible usage
The PeraDis® can be attached and triggered directly on the PackBot® 510 via a dovetail mount. A remote use with a (three-point) tripod and a release device is also possible. The triggering device has a status display that shows the current status of the ignition circuit and the charge level of the battery.
